Our Big News for 2025

In 2015 eight people gathered in a field to discuss running a family constellations camp in Ireland. At the time 6 of them had just completed a training with Barbara Morgan. A plan was hatched. The camp would be modelled on one Barbara was already running in the UK and would borrow heavily from Earthsong Camps. Of course things don’t always go to plan and in 2019 the camp parted ways with Aidan Conron and Daniel Burge. In 2022 Ricí ní Chléirigh joined the core camp team.

At that original meeting it was agreed Barbara would become involved in the camp, as the headline act, facilitating the morning sessions. And when the time was right and the rest of the group had found their wings Barbara would step back. Ten years and nine camps later Barbara has decided that time has come.

We will, as we know you will, greatly miss Barbara: her calm, steady facilitation and her wealth of knowledge, as well as her lively conversation around the fire. Although she will not be with us physically her presence will stay on. Her spirit will continue to imbue the camp and our work.

We are now envisioning how our 2025 camp will unfold. We look forward to navigating this exciting new phase in our journey together and can’t wait to welcome you back to Granny’s acre.

Family Constellations is a powerful healing process that has the potential to change lives and allow our families to come into loving order. Our camp offers you the opportunity to experience this remarkable work on a five-day camp in the beautiful Wicklow hills of Ireland. We camp in circles and cook over wood fires, surrounded by meadows and fields. We create a unique space to work closely with each other, with nature and the elements.

Six facilitators of family constellations work at the camp, bringing a wealth of knowledge and lived experience, and many years of healing work to the camp. Visit the about us page for details. We offer morning and afternoon workshops and many opportunities to work on personal and family healing, as well as other activities and opportunities for recreation.

As well as the morning and afternoon Constellations workshops, the program includes additional events. We will be offering Sweat Lodges on two evenings in a traditional willow built lodge. Every morning we have a morning Dance Chant to awaken us beautifully, and we also have singing and dance sessions during the camp.

“As a constellations facilitator in the US, I had heard about the camp and been drawn to it for many years before I was able to attend. It far exceeded my already high expectations. From the moment I arrived I was greeted with tea and kindness and the truest sense of welcome. I struggled with preparation for camping and supplies as I had some limitations of what I could bring internationally, but the team and community filled any gaps I had, and then some.

This camp is so special. There’s no single element that makes it such; the magic is widely distributed amongst a grounded, thoughtful, intentional, joyful offering. The visual image of the camp when walking over the hill to see it, is something I still call to mind often as a resource for my spirit. The leadership team is living the values of their work and inviting community into the same. We do deep family and personal healing work, we swim in the river, we dance and pray and play and eat together, and most importantly we get to live on the gorgeous earth and be held in her healing rhythms.

I returned a second year bringing 8 friends with me, and I will return again this year and any time I can. Grateful my heart called me there and for the warmth and wisdom it has brought into my life.

“I first went to Constellation Camp Ireland in summer 2024, and found it one of the most soul nourishing times of my life so far. The hosts were generous spirits, sharing their tents, food and songs, and this generosity infused the whole camp. Rooted on a cozy hilltop hallow called ‘Granny’s acre,’ and grounded in welcoming rituals, the camp felt both clearly held and spacious. This allowed for profound depth of constellations work each morning, complimented by resourcing group practices in afternoons and meals and story sharing round the fire each night.

I have done many constellations retreat, but none other where we sleep on the land, and with nary a cellphone in sight – this created a magical atmosphere, inviting the supportive spirt of the land to aid us in the courageous work of seeing and accepting what is with love and gratitude.
